Hunters wrapped up the early portions of the archery and muzzleloader deer seasons by harvesting an estimated 23,048 deer during September and October ─ five percent higher than last year’s harvest of 21,965.
The two-month harvest includes 12,213 deer taken during the archery season (7,107 taken with vertical bows and 5,106 taken with crossbows) and 10,715 harvested during the October muzzleloader season. An additional 120 deer were reported during managed deer hunts.
Compared to last year, the antlered harvest increased 16 percent from 6,604 deer to 7,637, and the antlerless harvest increased from 15,361 to 15,411. Included in these totals are 523 antlered and 550 antlerless sika deer.

Years with low acorn yields are cyclical and are not the product of Marxist propaganda. If you had oak trees on your property it is obvious.
And what is the total taken by automobile? I know three people who have hit deer this fall and I had a close call.
Did you actually read the report? 16% increase in the number of deer harvested. INCREASE! The only thing reported to be scarce was acorns. Bad acorn year. It happens. Don't forget. you got a GOP governor now, so don't go around calling his admin. Marxist. LOL.
Hahaha. Great white hunters. Layout corn, salt lick ,and water for several weeks and they will come. You can pin point the time the deer will show like punching a time clock. Then you see a picture of a 7 yr old who supposedly shot a 14 pt buck. Great white hunter's. PLEASE! !!
They do have a wasting disease. Have seen several deer with odd sores and discolored/mushy brains in both PA and MD.
Do you hunt? Or just complain? I enjoy seeing kids do something other than sitting in the house. U must have been one of those as a child. Idiot.
