Police at Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan have arrested a black man who allegedly posted on the social media site Yik Yak a threat to “shoot every black person I can on campus.”
Emmanuel D. Bowden, a 21-year-old Delta College student living on the SVSU campus, is charged with making a false report or threat of terrorism, a felony that carries a maximum punishment of 20 years in prison, The Saginaw News reported.
According to SVSU University Police reports, after the post to shoot blacks received multiple “negative replies,” the original poster replied with four additional messages that read, “Its [sic] a joke,” “I’m black,” “I was going to give it an hour to see how you all would react,” and “Right. I could be angry and just expressing myself lol.”
Following an FBI investigation, police arrested Mr. Bowden Friday inside a residence hall on SVSU’s campus in Kochville Township on an unrelated warrant, The Saginaw News reported. Police said they were able to connect Mr. Bowden’s cellphone to the Yik Yak threat while carrying out the warrant.

Obama will pardon him.
Not the time to joke about killing people.
No joke!! He just got caught, this time.
Idiot. Guess you can do your college time in prison.
That would be just more of the same that goes on in cities like Chicago and Baltimore every other day.
He should have been giving "Room to Destroy", like the Baltimore Mayor said. This really put a cramp on his actions.
Understandable.
