Many jobs require employees to put their well-being in danger, even to the point of risking their lives when they clock in.
Aspiring police officers know that they'll be fighting crime, and firefighters are well aware that putting out fires is life-threatening. But there are some careers in which the perils are less evident.
Using data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and ONet, HealthGrove andStartClass looked at the 22 most dangerous jobs based on the fatal injury rate per 100,000 full-time workers.

How about that officers? Tell that your jobs dangerous crap to a firefighter.
5:07.. FYI, that article says cop job more dangerous than firefighter.. Reading is fundamental!!! Just saying..
5:07 another one wanted to be a cop but couldn't pass the test so became a fireman
Many of the jobs on this list are inherently dangerous due to the possibilities of accidents and forces of nature. Firefighters however are running into what others are trying to get out of, and police are dealing with the evils that others avoid. Sure, as a trash collector you may get backed over buy your truck, but will you likely burn to death trying to help others, or will you get shot trying to catch a criminal??
garbage men get free donuts also
Where is being a cop in "da bury" rate?

like the guy in CT. who scored too HIGH and they refused to hire him? lmao
Hey Jack. Reading is fundamental! That's what he was saying. That he coos get to tell firefighters that their jobs more dangerous. Can't tell that to most any other occupation!
What's it matter? Either way a person died doing their jobs which is all just as important. Picture life without a garbage man! Think Salisbury is bad now. Rats and the plague is one thing to think about.
