A rural Christian college has banned homosexuality after two of the school's volleyball players came out as gay.
Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina, said that homosexuality wasn't part of 'God's intended design for humanity'.
The liberal arts school with 575 students is affiliated with the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
This week, the college issued a 'Statement on Human Sexuality', saying it intended to 'add the statement to its official manuals and determine how it will be integrated into campus culture and procedures'.

This is awesome news. We need more organizations to follow suit.
They want to make sure the students can actually be able to "sit" in class and learn.
Although I graduated over two decades ago, I feel like I may want to go back to school, at this one! Or better yet, entice our daughter & grandson to attend there! I'll PAY for that!!
Very nice way to teach hate. Well done.
That is odd. Typically, at schools like this, it is the white male teachers going after the boys. Then covering it up.
2:21--
Ditto!!
Actually this story isn't accurate..they didn't ban homosexuals or their activity-- they just clarified their position on it:
"We believe the Bible teaches that all sexual activity outside the covenant of marriage is sinful".
They said what they believe. They're entitled to do that.
(BTW: 2:36- you're full of crap.)
What does hate have to do with this? It's a choice.
"Very nice way to teach hate. Well done."
You guys crack me up! When you want to air your viewpoint, you whine about tolerance and diversity. Any opinion that differs from yours is simply reduced to 'hate'. Kind of like racists who are constantly pissing about 'racism'. Dude, you've worn it out.
