Queen Anne's County-based RESET program aims to put troubled youth on a better path

Her story was tough to hear.

Trying heroin for the first time as a teen, and getting hooked immediately.

Losing her art scholarship and getting kicked out of college after a drug raid at her parents’ house.

Getting shot at by police.

Finally seeking help after trying to quit on her own and experiencing crippling withdrawal symptoms.

Anna Fox of Kent Island has been clean and sober for years, but she still has flashbacks to “horrible” things she did in pursuit of heroin. She told her story to eight teens participating in Queen Anne’s County’s RESET program.
