Maryland Congressman Andy Harris thinks the Homeland Security funding dispute is only the first of many big fights to come on Capitol Hill. Harris, a Republican, blames the President and the Senate's top Democrat for much of the political strife.
"The problem is this is how we're going to define what the next two years are going to look like," Harris told the Jimmy Mathis show Saturday on WBAL Newsradio 1090. "it's going to be ugly for the next two years if the President and Harry Reid refuse to let the Senate do its work with the House."
Harris also sees dissension in the GOP ranks, noting that House Republican stood their ground on blocking funding for the President's immigration order. The Senate passed a bill that contained no such provision.

I did not see andy's name on the list that blocked the funding. am I confused or is andy getting soft
Not only is he soft but he does not care what the voting public thinks. This is demonstrated by his over reach in trying to stop DC from legalizing pot.
It does not matter to him that over 60% of the voters want these reforms. It only matters that Ol' Andy thinks he knows better. So he steps in with some rhetoric about it not being the citizens choice because DC is a territory not a state.
ANDY HARRIS is not getting my vote and he is certainly not getting my support until he straightens up and starts acting like a real conservative instead of inching towards being a RINO. Above all else this means less government and less government interference in my personal choices as a living human.
harris has never done anything.he wants to know were his health insurance coming from. no good for state of md.
