A professor with Rochester Institute of Technology has called for the incarceration of any American who actively disagrees that climate change is solely caused by human activity.
Lawrence Torcello, a philosophy professor with a Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo, published the comments as part of an essay submitted to the academic website The Conversation.
Torcello argues that malignant individuals, who he does not identify, are collectively organising a “campaign funding misinformation” about climate change. Torcello goes on to suggest that such activity “ought to be considered criminally negligent.”

I consider Marxist professors to be scum of the earth. They need to leave this country and go to North Korea or some other such place they would always totally agree with their communist drivel.
Frankly, I don't give a damn what he thinks. Here is a guy that wants to put me in jail for what I believe. Must have been appointed by Obama.
There are times in your life when you must decide it's time to fight.
This kind of rhetoric by progressive liberals is no different than Nazi's calling for the imprisonment of Jews and Homosexuals.
Actually Obama himself has started this kind of hateful propaganda towards his political opposition as a way to foment misguided divisiveness, anger and mistrust among his comrades and cult like followers.
It is dangerous, just as dangerous as Hitler and Stalin's propaganda in WWII. It is just as sinister as well.
That is the progressive liberal idea, instill hatred toward anything, anyone, or any ideology they disagree with. That is why their socialist/communist methods and ideology are so dangerous and anti-American. The tactic is Marxism 101.
Furthermore, climate change is a fact of life, it has been occurring for millions of years and will continue to do so. The progressive liberals
(American Marxists) have absolutely ZERO proof that man has anything to do with it. In fact many arguments can be made that mans advancements and use of fossil fuels has actually slowed climate change because they are used in a more efficient manner than the earth itself would naturally.
did not the earth tip an enth a degree on it's axis a couple years ago. some places are warmer, some are colder. it ain't all people, if they "count" at all.
Torcello says:
"malignant individuals, who he does not identify, are collectively organising a “campaign funding misinformation” about climate change"
I agree with this statement completely. These malignant individuals are progressives like Torcello who use "climate change" in an effort to transfer wealth and weaken prosperous nations.
I say no prison for tbis ass, he should be executed for treason.
Climate change is a fact in the sense that the climate is changing. But guess what its always changing. We are on a ride not at the wheel. What people need to be more concerned with is the poisoning of our drinking water and the destruction of our land. We do continue to pump things into the environment that should never have been brought into play. Instead of using old fashion labor intensive methods(we have plenty of labor) they opt to use chemicals that create toxic conditions, all to make more money. Its not right.
All of my drivel aside, there is no reason to call for the imprisonment of anyone for their beliefs on this topic or any other. These are the people that need to be eliminated from any position of influence.
To stymie discussion and dissent by imprisoning those that oppose him, he's the very antithesis of what a professor should be.
What a tool.
Philosphically speaking, Lawrence is a moron. He is a professor because the Big Five philosophy firms weren't hiring.
Lock up the whole town of Salisbury.
