This makes perfect sense. With today's technology you'd think they could find the plane.

What concerns me the most is the fact MAYBE this plane was hijacked and taken to a terrorist friendly country and all aboard was killed or taken to be used as ransom later and the jet fully loaded with bombs and equipped with added fuel tanks and is now a major size flying bomb with no transponders to track it or for and radar systems to know it and it will be used in a MAJOR Attack during a MAJOR event somewhere in the world ??? I am shocked the media has not picked up on something like this and or the Gov. has and has told the media not a put this out to not scare the hell out of the public.

don't need a transponder to be picked up on radar.

What I meant is that they would see something on the radar. But would not know it was the missing jet as the transponder identifies it. And the time it would take to scramble jets to check it out, may be too late.

Hell, we track UFOs all the time. How come this plane vanished? We actually have an unidentified object living in the White House.

It never ceased to amaze me that the professor could make a radio out of a coconut, but lacked the knowledge to fix the hole in the boat.
