Guinness pulls out of NY's St. Patrick's parade over ban on gays

BOSTON (Reuters) - Irish brewer Guinness said on Sunday that it would not participate in New York City's St. Patrick's Day parade this year because gay and lesbian groups had been excluded, costing organizers a key sponsor of the annual event.

The move came on the same day that Boston's Irish-American mayor skipped that city's St. Patrick's Day parade after failing to hammer out a deal with organizers to allow a group of gay and lesbian activists to march openly.

Why don't the gays find their own parade instead of crashing in on the Irish day parade?
Me and my children do not need to see flamboyant gays at every parade.

boy are the public fools. who really cares what another human being does as long as it's not hurting you or forcing you to partake? no matter what party affiliation you may identify with the bottom line as long as the politicians and the corporations can keep you busy worrying about bs you are no threat to them and they can continue on doing as thy please! when will you fools wake up and take your lives and you freedoms back?

Forcing you to partake? ?? Are you kidding me. The gay agenda is being shoved down our throats! !!! In todays politics it is nearly illegal to be straight or a christian.

515-Do you bring "straight flags" to every parade you attend?

I'll go on the record USING MY OWN NAME and say I'll NEVER purchase another one of their products again.

As a businessman, this is what we call political suicide.

Sam Adams pulled out too. The slower lower won't have any effect on either company's bottom line. Now if it was Natural Light Natural Ice or one those brands that come in 40 oz bottles/24oz cans it would be disastrous.

This ticks me off. GAYS and LESBIANS were not excluded. They were welcome to parade and celebrate their Irish Heritage. They were NOT allowed to wave their rainbow flags, dress in drag (though green clothing on any gender was fine!) and generally tuern it into a gay- rights protest. They were NOT excluded, their attempt to turn an IRISH celebration into a LOOK AT ME, I'M GAY celebration was not permitted.

Was Obama excluded also then?
