FTA from 1992? I'm surprised that anybody remembered.

WTF? Have the courts finally caught up with the backlog of cases or are they just now getting around to the 1992 backlog? 22 years later seems to me that they court should have just dropped it. It seems self-evident that this man hasn't been a menace to society since this time or he would have been back in jail and this FTA would have been discovered much sooner. Seems to be a way for the court to get an easy collar.
Just my 2 cents, I could be wrong.
