It does me. I can't handle distractions or any type.
No. Music makes the world go 'round baby. Some people may not be able to handle it (not sure why though) and those people should feel free to wear earplugs. I work in a music free office and it sucks.....so i sing all day.

Depends. If it was something complicated and technical I didn't appreciated distractions of any kind including music.
music is a nice background for me. work gets done and everyone is happy!
Construction work, yes, construction estimaring, no. There are places for each.
