Gallup Poll: Americans' Distrust Of Media Soars To New Record

The latest Gallup poll on Americans’ perception of the media has just been released, and it shows that 60% have “little or no trust in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately, and fairly.”  Here’s another very interesting data point:
The current gap between negative and positive views — 20 percentage points — is by far the highest Gallup has recorded since it began regularly asking the question in the 1990s.
The important thing about this poll is not simply the fact that a wide majority Americans understand that the mainstream media is nothing but inane propaganda, but the trend continues its relentless march toward higher and higher levels of mistrust.
These are the type of statistics that keep the incompetent elite running this nation up at night in sweats, and is something all of us that are trying to restore sanity and liberty to this country should cheer.  The people are waking up and things will be turned around eventually.

Funny. Despite all the distrust, I hear folks from both sides pick up on every rumor, piece of innuendo, or crap talking point presented by the same media they supposedly distrust.

It is truly blog sites like this that try to keep an honesty and truth to news. Anyone with common sense and are informed knows the MSM is very Democratic bias. The Daily Times is just as bad.

Interesting. I just read the full article and did not see the words "mainstream media" used once. The term used was "mass media". I hate to break this to you but this does include Fox News. There is plenty of distrust to go around.
