140 Million Families Will Be Forced To Submit Obamacare Individual Mandate Compliance Forms To IRS

CBO estimates hours and hours of more paperwork for American taxpayers because of the Individual Mandate tax.
The Congressional Budget Office on Wednesday announced that six million American families will be forced to pay the Obamacare individual mandate non-compliance penalty tax.
The six million families who will be forced to pay the tax understates the true compliance burden of the looming Obamacare individual mandate scheduled to take effect in 2014:
  • Every American required to file an income tax return must report to the IRS whether or not they have “qualifying” health insurance under Obamacare.

  • Thus, this tax will not just impact the six million American families having to pay the tax, but the 140 million U.S. households which file an annual income tax return.  Each of the 140 million households will be forced to complete and submit compliance forms to the IRS.

Despite new, daily revelations regarding the impact of this health care nightmare (pelosi was right, in her own bumbling way -- we have to pass the bill to know what's in it!), we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg. Wait til the bureaucrats start naming committees, review boards, and enforcement methods. There will be "monitoring", "measuring", and of course, fines, fees, surcharges, and taxes. New agencies and "czars" will spring up like grass in a sidewalk. Its going to be a politicians dream! They will be wasting YEARS debating, tweaking, nullifying, and fine-tuning this monstrosity. YEARS. Talk about job security...."non-compliant" sounds like something out of the North Korean Secret Police handbook. Same for "homeland"...

Wait until people start losing their homes and cars because they can't afford both a home and health insurance, they'll then be eligable for low to no income housing. This is the American back breaker.

11:27 Yup, because people would rather spend their money on a new pick up truck than buy health insurance. Where is personal responsibility there?

Wait until those people who can't wait to get their tax return money get NADA! I can't wait to tell them Obama built that.
lmclain, they all ready have panels, boards, counselors (not sure of the correct name) who are to review the doctors notes and they are to make "recommendations" as to the patients treatment.
This is what has the doctors up in arms and that's why all medical records have to be done electronically now so they can be forwarded to these panels who will end up dictating the treatment.
Now treatment will not be between a patient and their doctor but dictated by the government. This one of the main reasons 70% of the people do not like Obamacare.

12:23 I know what you are saying and it sounds good on the surface to finally get people contributing but it's will not work. The reason being is because then these people will end up having to 'sponge' off the government in some other way. The whole plan was not thought out intelligently. It was rushed through in a hurry before the midterms. It is a cluster on a
massive scale. Another pile of crap built by Obama.

12:28 It is dictated by the insurance companies now, so nothing will change.

12:32 The problem now is that people sponge off the ER's knowing that they have to treat them and they will not pay. When everyone has insurance the ER's will get paid.
I am all for giving them the right to refuse care if you cannot show insurance or pay right there and then. No one else is forced to work for free.

Not true. There are insurance reps (auditors) within health care setting who are looking for fraud which includes unnessasary tests, procedures, etc, but under no one stretch of the imagination are they dictating treatment.
