Governor, Guests Honor Baltimore Pastor's Community Legacy

Gov. Martin O'Malley joined hundreds of other guests to celebrate a Baltimore pastor's legacy of service to the community.
Rev. Marcus Garvey Wood has led Providence Baptist Church on Pennsylvania Avenue for 60 years.
When Garvey began preaching at the church, in 1952, gas cost 20 cents a gallon.
"Sixty years says something. And I think that is to be commended," said Rev. Dr. Douglas Summers. "Not only of one man, but of a congregation."
