Feldman's Demolition Delayed

According to Palmer Gillis this morning...

"We made the business decision yesterday to pursue further registration with the United States Department of the Interior, National Parks Service. We expect about a 30 to 60 day delay as a result of this process".

Now this doesn't mean demolition won't continue, it will. There will simply be a 30 to 60 day delay. The outcome could be very positive for future historic projects here on the Shore.

One could think they have uncovered something that could of valuable historic significance.
What is it?

I hope that POS isn't determined to be historic. If so, that part of downtown will forever be plagued with boring, run down architecture.

Boring? It has more character than you would ever show.

anonymous 5:45, that comment comes from a new local newspaper who wasn't there to capture the images and or keep on top of what's going on with the progress of this project.

Mr. Robinson told me they were going to be down there every day to take pictures but they only came out once AFTER my Post went up about the demolition.

You can bet they'll be at the ribbon cutting when the time comes.

My thoughts on this project are as follows. This is a major transformation to our Downtown. Being the owner of Palmer's very first revitalization project, I know the quality work he is capable of and can only imagine how much better he has become over the years.

Salisbury News is trying to keep everyone aware of what they are doing as most do not travel regularly past this section of Salisbury.

Once the bureaucrats get into it,30 days could be 3 years.

Totally absurd!
