Full page ad running 30 days? Seems pretty resonable.
Oonce each week for five weeks = five ads. $6,808.00 /5= $1,361.60 per ad. Read the text. I see they also want a 66 foot resement from the railroad for the new collector road AFTER they tore out the tracks and built their road and culverts through it. If any contractor had done that to the railroad, they in JAIL immediately. WTF?
and the county paid it huh?
I wouldnt be surprised if they dont buy the Daily Times building also.
anonymous 10:49, Salisbury News is $100.00 a MONTH. Our local readership is much bigger then the Daily Times. The laws will soon change and it will be the end of the Daily Times. In the mean time, they're raping the taxpayers. Not only that, the County HAS other options. Connect the dots.

After looking at this invoice - it is a crying shame that our County has been taken to the cleaners by them.
In this day and age - an electronic media should be handling this transaction for the County. Our County is operating like it is still the dark age.
It is insane to be paying this much money for such a substandard service.
I could not believe my eyes that they county paid almost 7 grand until I clicked onto the invoice.
SBYnews - I have got to hand it to your reporting staff - you have pegged the nail as I read the actual invoice. If I were the county - I would not pay the bill.
People have to eat....don't think that anyone would do it for free.
The town must advertise legal items in the local paper as per Maryland legislative law. No mention of electronic media. Newspaper publisher have a good lobbyist in annapolis
