Detectives Seek Public’s Assistance In Locating Wanted Subject

Location: Branchy’s Gun Shop, 16888 Laurel Road, Laurel, DE

Date of Occurrence: Friday April 20, 2012 and Thursday May 3, 2012

Suspect and Charges:

Samuel Disharoon, 43, of Delmar, MD (No photo available)
Issuing a Bad Check < $1,500.00 (2 counts)

Laurel, DE- Delaware State Police Detectives from Troop 4 in Georgetown seek the public’s help in locating a wanted subject from Delmar, MD.

On Friday April 20, 2012, Samuel Disharoon issued a personal check to Branchy’s Gun Shop in Laurel in order to purchase a shotgun. Disharoon returned to the gun shop on Thursday May 3rd at which time he purchased more items on the same checking account. The shop owner learned through the bank that the checks, totaling more than $1,300.00, were no good. Detectives have been unable to locate Disharoon and believe he may have issued bad checks at other businesses throughout Sussex County.
