A statewide database indicates Anne Arundel County is home to 13,000 job openings, some of which may be filled at a job fair.
The Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp. has announced the dates for Back-to-Work Week, an event intended to help residents find work. Beginning Wednesday and lasting through May 22, a series of free workshops and events are scheduled at locations throughout the county.
The Fort Meade Community Job Fair on May 23 will host more than 87 employers from various industries -- and representatives will be interviewing and hiring applicants.
