This is wonderful and I can't wait to attend. I just found out, though, Rick Pollitt is having a Budget meeting the same time. Guess he doesn't want anyone from the BOE to attend.

I hope that Heather Spicer, Kindergarten teacher at Delmar Elem, wins. Although I am sure all the semi finalists are well deserving, Mrs Spicer is AWESOME! She and her assistant have the patience of Job and my daughter loves to go to school to learn thanks to her experience and love.

Rooting for Riley!! said...

I am rooting for Debra Riley. She does an outstanding job. She goes above and beyond. Too often you see students in special education just being babysat, however she actually teaches them. The change in these children from the beginning of a school year to the end of a school year is phenominal. The students in her classes learn enough to be able too be put into a regular ed classroom.
