Hell NO! If he or she committed a heinous, murderous crime, don't give them life at tax payers expense for 60 years. Execute the bastards for what they did to their victims!
Not a cut and dry issue, I guess that is why some 15-16 yr. olds are tried as a juvenile, and some are tried as an adult. I really do believe that some people are genetically defective and evil, and some are so damaged by abuse or traumatic events that they will always be a danger.

Of course if your African American then you get probation and a free education.
if they killed or raped someone or tried to rape or kill someone, they need to be killed.
Well I believe an eye for an eye. If the person, child or adult, is proven beyond the shadow of a doubt to be guilty, then NO they should not get life in prison, they should be put down! Do not pass GO or collect $200. If you kill someone, you should lose your life as well. Why should we pay for them the rest of their life, we already do that with the Welfare recipients! Don't we?
Eye for an eye,tooth for a tooth.If we up the amount of executions it will be the best deterrent to further violent crimes.
