Salisbury Police department Press Releases 3-15-12

Tyrone Hunter, 46yo of Salisbury, MD was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Possession of Paraphernalia.

On March 9, 2012 at approximately 8:55am, officers and detectives of the Salisbury Police served a Parole Re-Take Warrant on Hunter at 805 E. Church St as he was about to enter into an apartment. During a search incident to arrest of Hunter, a quantity of suspected “crack” cocaine was located inside of Hunter’s headwear. The amount of suspected CDS seized, currency seized, and the lack of any smoking devices in Hunter’s
possession is indicative of distribution.

Hunter was released to the custody of Central Booking. CC# 2012-9691 & 9700

Kristine Acrivi Vickers, 31yo of Salisbury, MD was arrested and
charged with 1st & 2nd degree Assault and Reckless Endangerment.

On March 11, 2012 at approximately 5:10am, officers responded to the area of Poplar Hill Ave and E Chestnut St for an assault.

On arrival, it was learned that Vickers and the victim had been involved in a domestic argument. Vickers was attempting to leave in an automobile. The victim stood in front of Vickers’ vehicle to keep her from leaving. Vickers, in an attempt to leave, struck the victim with the vehicle. Victim received minor injuries and was transported to PRMC-ER by Salisbury EMS. Vickers was released to the custody of Central Booking.

Zachary Isiah Handy, 19yo of Salisbury, MD was arrested and charged with four counts of Indecent Exposure.

Through a related investigation, a detective learned that Handy had exposed himself to females living at the University Park Apartments during the time frame of February 12-21, 2012. The incidents occurred on four separate occasions around building 1409 in which Handy would expose his nude body to the females as they walked past the apartment in which he was staying in. It was learned that Handy is not a resident of the complex but had been visiting a friend when these incidents occurred.
