High School Health Curriculum DVD Resource, "Straight Talk-The Truth aAbout STDs" Approved For First Reading

Based on the recommendations of both the Health Advisory Council and the Curriculum Council, the Wicomico County Board of Education approved for first reading a 30 minute DVD resource to support the Grade 10 health education curriculum. The video, Straight Talk - The Truth about STDs, is now available for previewing and comment by any member of the community. Those interested can schedule a time to view this resource at the Central Office by calling Ruth Malone, Director of Curriculum and Professional Development at 410-677-4560 or Michael Charlton, Supervisor of Health and Physical Education at 410-677-4540. The Board of Education members will be considering this resource for final approval at their next monthly meeting scheduled for April 10, 2012.
