Statement From Governor Martin O’Malley On WASHINGTON’S PASSAGE OF A MARRIAGE EQUALITY BILL

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Martin O’Malley tonight issued this statement following Washington’s passage of a marriage equality bill:

“Tonight’s passage of a marriage equality bill in Washington marks yet another step forward for equal protection under the law for all Americans.

“It is time for Maryland to do the same.”

Hey O'Malley don't you have more important things to do than fight for marriages for homsexuals. How about unemployment, jobs, the economy. Let's address important issues.

Why are the churchs putting out so much money and effort to fight this? Why don't they focus on their members ptoblems?

Nothing ignorant about churchs caring about the unemployed and poor instead of telling others how to live.
