Dejavu all over again

Really? Seriously?

WASHINGTON — The prospect of conflict with Iran has eclipsed Afghanistan as the key national security issue with head-spinning speed. After years of bad blood and an international impasse over Iran's disputed nuclear program, why does the threat of war seem so suddenly upon us?

The short answer is that Iran has used the years of deadlock over whether it was pursuing a bomb to get within roughly 12 months of being able to build one. Iran claims its nuclear program is not aimed at building a bomb, but it has refused to drop suspect elements of the program.
Time is running short for Iran to back down without a fight........

So what if they get the bomb. All their neighbors have the bomb. Who would they attack without the real threat of the annihilation of both? Really? There/s going to be an immediate nuclear conflict as soon as they have nukes? Really? All their neighbors have them. if they set off any, that will pay the price! Can anybody here say, "DUH"? Where is the threat? If they do elect to send a missile to us, we're ready for that 10x over. So what's the deal here?
Lift the sanctions and get on with our lives...

907...who around them has a nuclear bomb??? Iraq?? Afghanstan? Saudi...etc.??? The problem is that if Iran got a bomb, then everyone around them would want one. That is the issue. As far as being ready for a nuke, you are never ready for a nuke that goes boom. Yeah, you may stop it from being launched at us, but an EMP or radiation has a way of doing bad things to people and their lives. Take them out and take them out now, before it get to the US!!!!!!
