I don't mind that suggestion one bit. It sounds like a good start. However, there's no reason to give one man the power to call that shot by himself. FOLLOW THE RULES WE ALREADY HAVE IN PLACE!!! Why do you think they are there in the first place?
Bullard - This was how it was done until the mid-eighties. All he is asking is for Congress to allow him and any future President the power to combine agencies and departments under his branch. Congress then has the check by an up or down vote.
What rules already in place allow the president to reorganize and do away with overlap?
Like Obama or not. Its not a new president we need. Its a new congress!

I thought your GOP candidates were getting big rounds of applause for stating "their first move in office" would be to get rid of entire cabinet level departments
Well, I'm certainly not going to use up my Friday night researching present law, but I would be pretty sure congress had something to do with the formation of these agencies and should be involved in any rule changing; not handing the 6 agency decision to one Dictator for an "up or down" vote!
