MARYLAND DEMOCRATIC PARTY MAINTAINS STRONG FUNDRAISING LEAD

ANNAPOLIS – The Maryland Democratic Party raised more than $1 million in 2011, and will begin 2012 with more than $700,000 in the bank. Maryland Democrats clearly have the momentum heading into a critical election year.

The Maryland Democratic Party will capitalize on our financial advantage and run a strong campaign to elect more Democrats across our state and do our part to reelect President Barack Obama this fall. The enthusiastic support we continue to receive is a compelling signal that Marylanders recognize our party remains in line with the principles of inclusion, diversity and opportunity that we all share, and our elected leaders work to advance.

Our fundraising momentum stands in stark contrast to the debt-ridden and out-of-touch Maryland GOP. The resources of Maryland Democrats completely overshadow the Maryland Republican Party, who is once again significantly in debt and has had to abandon their Annapolis headquarters.

If you are a true Democrat you will not vote to reelect this idiot back into office again.

Democrats get money from unions. Republicans get it from true, everyday working-class people that want real change in their state - not just the empty promise Democrats keep giving.

it's not about republican or democrat, they both get paid to say what corporations want, they both represent the status quo, and we're tired of that. All they will do is tell you what you want to hear at that moment, turn around, and do whatever they want. Ever heard of divide and conquer?
