Salisbury, MD – Wicomico Recreation is stepping onto the court this winter with the introduction of Youth Basketball. The eight week season will tip-off on January 14th and conclude with single elimination play-offs in March. The program is recruiting players and volunteer coaches.
Play is open to boys and girls of all skill levels from 5th through 8th grade. Players can register as part of a team of ten or individually to play on house created teams. Great Program, glad to see Salisbury participating. My kids have enjoyed this program for 7 years through, seaford rec. delmar rec. and now laurel rec. Maybe we can play against salisbury in the payoff's or just for fun. Very rewarding feeling for those who volunteer. And the children love the attention they get as well as the roaring crowds cheering them on. It helps build self estem and you never know what hidden talent is out there until you bring it out... Best wishes for a Sucessful turn out and great season.
