US Embassy in Iran? Michele Bachmann’s ‘Oops’ Moment

ABC News’ Molly Hunter reports:

Did Michelle Bachmann have her “oops” moment?

In light of the British Foreign Ministry pulling all U.K. nationals out of the British embassy in Tehran after students stormed the building in protest, GOP presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann told a crowd in Waverly, Iowa, today that she would close the U.S. embassy in Iran.

The media is on 24/7 Bachmann watch for the most trivial gaffes and non-gaffres, but the really serious gaffes by Obama are ignored. Bachmann has made fewer misstatements than the average politician. However, Team Obama media jackals have made a career of perverting and distorting her statements to turn them into gaffes. These Team Obama jackals have ignored Obama's continual lies and gaffes, to wit:
Barack Obama said that he campaigned "in all 57 states;" that our country was founded "20 centuries ago;" pronounced Navy Corpsman "corpseman;" called "Austrian" a foreign language; and referred to "The President of Canada" and to Europe as "a country." Speaking in Hawaii, Obama said "Here in Asia..."
There are 50 States in the USA. But there are 57 Muslim States in the world: a Freudian slip by Barack Hussein Obama.
More significantly, Obama lied about his relationship with convicted terrorist Bill Ayers, whom Obama called "some guy in the neighborhood." Ayers was an early Obama political supporter. Obama began his campaign for the Illinois State Senate at a fundraiser at Ayers' house.

Sorry, but Bachman has already shown she's an idiot; forget the vocal slip ups. The fact that Cain, Bachman, Santorum, or Perry are even considered serious candidates for the highest office shows how far our system has declined.

Yes, Bachman and all the above are too ignorant to be president. Obama is probably the worst of the bunch with his belief in "57 states" and total dependence on visual aids to provide him with correct information while speaking. (Actually, I think all of the above are dependent on others feeding them information through visual aids while speaking. If allowed to speak their own thoughts Bachman, Obama and the rest come off sounding like Forrest Gump)! The only one I've seen who has any grasp of the U.S. and world stage is Ron Paul. The day of the intellectually gifted public official is long gone. Now all we have is idiot "snake oil salesmen" for the conservative and liberal agendas.

Nice of you to be keeping score cma6. Now, let's compare the number of gaffes between the two.
I'm sure Bachmann is catching up REAL fast!
I agree with Anon 9:41 - she's an idiot! She's saying whatever she's been TOLD to say (Just like Palin was) and they're really making her look stupid. Stupid she is too for not checking stuff out herself!
