No! Life began only once, millions of years ago. It just continues, on and on. The egg is alive, even before fertilization, just as the sperm is alive before fertilization. When they join things happen, changes occur and life continues, but it did not "begin". All this talk about life "beginning" is a load of crap.

I'm very confused as to why we can't simply have a law stating that termination of a pregnancy after the fertilized egg has successfully embedded in the uterine wall is illegal accept in cases of incest, rape, or the mother's life. This protects the unborn and women's right to choose
Yes. You can split hairs about the egg being alive and the sperm etc. But once the 2 are combined then it is a human life.
Can or will this issue ever be permanently resolved?I understand that folks are passionate about this,but will concrete laws ever be passed where abortion is concerned?Will it be like our constitution and be kicked around like a soccer ball for the next 200 years.My hope is that it eventually will transcend the political forum and become permanent law yeah or neah.

All this talk about humans and conception, I have a question for people to ponder. Do people still feel the same about the issue if it was about animals? If you take your dog or cat to get it fixed and find out after the procedure the vet tells you your dog was pregnant; how many people would cry over the fact that twelve innocent puppies had to be aborted. You get your dog fixed to help YOU keep your dog from having puppies. Not the question, but close enough, because it still pertains to abortion. Having your tubes tied to prevent you from having children is an option. Is it an abortion. No, in fact most the prolife crowd would say this is contraception. There are tubal pregnancies that in order to save one's life, it ends in abortion. Anytime you try to make something permanent, into a law, (most the time when passed few are reversed) when it comes to controlling any life, you better make damn sure you know what your talking about and all possible outcomes. Making something illegal doesn't exactly protect life or make it any better.

When else would it begin? As soon as the egg and sperm unite and the first cell is formed, human life has begun. Maybe the fetus is not a viable person, able to live outside the womb, but is is new life.
when an adult gets sick and can't take care of himself; does this give us the right to kill? hell no.
abortion hasn't always been legal. it shouldn't be legal now. what don't you get about killing a baby in the womb? is it so hard to understand? it's called infanticide. 99% of all abortions are done for birth control and convenience.
