Md. Businesses Uneasy About Economic Growth

Comptroller Peter Franchot concluded “there is a sense of uneasiness about the economy” after three hours of testimony from Maryland business executives at a Board of Revenue Estimates meeting on Tuesday.

Md. retailers are uneasy about losing business to Delaware over a major difference in sales tax. Taxing our way out of debt is like digging yourself out of a hole with a shovel.
