Veteran Judge Launches Non-Profit To Support Drug Treatment Program

A Baltimore City judge who set up the state’s first drug court is trying to launch a nonprofit group to help support the services for long-time drug addicts. The program offers habitual law-breaking drug addicts the choice of entering a voluntary, long-term drug rehabilitation program run by the court over going to prison.

Given those two choices, it doesn't sound exactly "volunteer" to me. Bet he has a monetary interest in it somewhere and somehow. Check his "campaign contributions" to the legislative supporters.

Does this fool understand that most addicts/alcoholics DON'T WANT to quit using? They quit only when they have to and are forced to do so by negative consequences.
