BALTIMORE -- Baltimore County school administers are reaching into shelters, local motels and the homes of termporary care givers in an effort to reach and teach the county's homeless students."We want to make sure they have support. We have tutoring programs to provide extra educational support for them in the homeless shelters, and we just moved that program out into the school for some of the homeless students," said pupil personnel worker Carl Love.

How are those folks eating that are living in the woods! I see them living in there and was wondering if they could use some canned goods or bottled water.
They can always used such items. You, (and others) are welcome to drop off any such mentioned supplies at my building at 300 W. Main Street and I'd be more than happy to drop them off. Thanks for asking.
I understand that the WBOE has listed more than 1000 students (yes, one thousand) as "homeless." However, most actually have a home. If, for example, they are living with grandparents or some other relative, they are classified as homeless (unless the relative has gone through a formal process to be the official care-giver). So these "homeless" are not actually living in the woods somewhere.
