O'Brien Urged O'Malley Against Backing Gay Marriage
In the days before Gov. Martin O'Malley announced his support for same-sex marriage, Archbishop Edwin F. O'Brien privately urged him against "promoting a goal that so deeply conflicts with your faith."
The writting is on the wall. He does not care about Maryland anymore, he is looking at higher office, where his more wide spread decisions ie:equal rights for gay persons will affect his votes and public accepatibility. Mark my words O'Malley will be running for US senate or the presidency within the next 10 years.
at this point who cares we are all screwed up down gay straight or otherwise women and children first into the life boats let the rest drown in steerage as the banter plays on

O'malley and Barnie Franks with Obama are all male lovers of each other!
Should we outlaw divorce? Thee Catholic Church doesn't belive that is right either. Outlaw birth control too?
Why not let the people in Maryland decide what we want.
