Trespassing

Suspect:
  : On 27 July 2011 at 10:24 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a reported trespassing problem at a residence in the 7200 block of Walston Switch Road in
Parsonsburg. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the residents who advised that they had been trying to get
Robert Stevenson of Mardela Springs to leave their residence. The residents told the deputy that
Stevenson refused their requests which prompted to deputy to make the same request. When Stevenson
refused the deput
y’s request to leave the residence and even challenged the deputy to arrest him, the
deputy did just that and placed Stevenson under arrest.

The deputy transported Stevenson to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front
of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Stevenson in
the Detention Center in lieu of $3,000.00 bond.
