Wal-Mart Struggling To Keep Its Customers

Wal-Mart is in a race against time to give the people what they want before they get comfortable shopping elsewhere.

Shoppers who switched to other stores when Wal-Mart decided to ditch best-selling toothbrush brands, craft supplies and bolts of fabric may be hard to win back.

The company has taken nine months to restore thousands of grocery items, including some bestselling brands, it dumped from its shelves two years ago. The idea was to tidy up stores for the wealthier customers it had won during the recession.

Well tme is money and if did not have to wait in a Christmas line each time I go there it may not be a problem; two registers open and hundreds of people in line.

Walmart will be an empty warehouse one day.

The worst thing you can do to America is shop at Walmart.

they should just build and stock them then bulldoze dirt over them
all the crap ends up in a landfill anyway
they pretend to be a down home flag waving american company
what a joke
their demands on manufacturers have driven many companies out of the country

I won't abandon Walmart particularly when I see that I can purchase many items for half the price than at other chains. One main difference is that Walmart doesn't have a "sale price" but simply a low price.

It's a game that shoppers can play to save a lot of money.

You have to watch prices in walmart. Bigger is not always cheaper and store brand are not always cheaper. We have all been trained that if you buy something in bulk it's cheaper. Not anymore.

The only thing in their stores any good is the groceries. You have to watch them, cause other stores will have lower prices. Plus I have seen millions of baby roaches in the oranges(of all things). So I don't shop there.

I must admit, I have been a Wal-Mart grocery shopper for some time. Their prices were exceptional compared with SuperFresh, Giant, etc. Just to mention one item;Taster's Choice coffee was $4.00 cheaper than the other stores. This is not the case now. Their prices may now be a few pennies less but the poor service, many items out of stock, and the fact that the cashiers leave a lot to be desired have caused me to mostly shop at the other stores now.

You're blaming walmart for companies relocating outside the U.S.?

Heck and I thought it was taxes and wages.
