CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!!!

If you were at Gordy Tiger Mart yesterday you better look at your receipt!

A close friend was charged $5.36 per gallon. They noticed after they had started pumping their gas that it wasn't right, so they stopped, got their receipt and went inside to complain. The person inside told them that couldn't be right and started arguing with my friend.

Once my friend produced the receipt PROVING they were being charged $5.36 per gallon they finally brought in the manager. The manager started off right away trying to argue but again, they showed him the receipt with the price per gallon and they finally shut up.

SO, how many people do you think got screwed yesterday? Better check your receipts and keep a keen eye on Gordy Tiger Marts from here on out. They like to claim YOU are in the wrong.

They credited my friend back the difference.

I warned you about them a couple of weeks ago...I think the family is down to their last 7-8 million and is pulling out all the stops to get back into the green...

that's funny because last night as we drove past the tiger mart near the mall i commented to my husband "wow, look at all those cars up there getting gas!" (the place was way more packed than i'd ever seen it) to which he replied "yeah, they made their prices the same as Sam's" (which is where we get our gas from)

i hope that didn't happen to all those people who got gas at that station last night. when i say they were packed, people were waiting on the highway to get into the parking lot...

If anyone actually paid $5.36 per gallon at the Tigermart yesterday, and somehow managed not to notice, then I doubt the extra charge really makes a difference to them anyhow.

Anyone who cares would notice.

Did they forget they were in Salisbury, MD, not Salisbury UK??

It's approx 11.00 usd for a gallon of diesel over in the UK. They use diesel for a lot of vehicles.

Gas prices stink, but we are still not the highest.

anonymous 3:55, While that may be true, we pay enough taxes and fees in Maryland to assure these games locally aren't played.

I refuse to patronize anyone who associates with Bill Gordy. I am sick and tired of being raped by him as a tax payer. That $14,000,000 fire station was enough for me.

By the way, Bill and his wife are involved in a federal discrimination lawsuit against them for their hiring practices. That is a fact!

I used to program Gilbarco dispensers and consoles...I believe thats what is on site @ the Exxon station. When a problem, such as this arrises, the problem is usually because the last manager doing a price change made a mistake on pump #. The printed receipt @ the pump gets it data from the cashiers main console. The receipt the customer has is correct.....call Weights & Measures, they will respond.

Gordy could not give me gas, I hate Salisbury business men. Ones that have been around forever, and no better just try to rape people on Eastern Shore. There are very few left that are good and treat their clients well. Ones that grew up on SHore and treat locals right. Its all about GREED, and Gordy spells GREED!

I heard that the guy running the stores was told either discriminate when hiring or quit by Gordy's high society wife. The guy said no and filed a well documented retalitory firing complaint. After EEOC investigated they brought a charge against her and the company. Gordy working real hard to keep it quiet but to late. Any one know more or where the charge stands?

I used to work there (got a better job) and I know they started to delay changing prices in the computer after they post a lower price a couple of months ago! If you ask any questions you were told you would be fired and this was supported by the owner Karen Gordy. Nice community business leaders.
