No, I cant believe my own government how can I believe others.
No,neither the Japanese government or our government are telling us the truth about this.
They are facing a problem like never before, it's all unpredictable now. Most reports are about the nuclear plants and radiation and that's really critical at this time.
While much has to do with radiation to try and help it from getting worse, they show a few shots of the earthquake/Tsnunami destruction, the whole island is a mess.
I have to say though that the Japanese are devoted people when they know trying to cool these rods down will probably cause their own death. That's sacrifice for your country know matter who gets the blame.
It's somewhat difficult for them to get good info with the radiation levels being up. They can't just walk up there and take a look. They often have to guess. Then they have to deal with the world's press corps worrying them to death, and governments like ours expecting detailed reports every 5 minutes.
They're also dealing with a tsunami/earthquake disaster, remember?
They've got their hands FULL, and I'm sure they're doing the best they can.
Reports on the ground indicate it's the foreigners and their governments spreading panic-- the Japanese people are pretty calm, doing the best they can.
If the info is a bit off, they've got pretty good excuses.
Let's give them a break.

No, I don't believe them. If they told the complete truth there would be mass hysteria & where would the millions of people go to escape the radiation? You can't evacuate that many people.

Yes, this is uncharted waters. Remember the oil spill in the gulf?? How soon we forget! I believe the Japanese are doing all they can do at this time as well not panic the people. We could learn a lot from the Japanese... NO looting or bad things. I feel so sorry for them.
