PUBLIC NOTICE

A CLOSED SESSION OF THE CITY COUNCIL HAS BEEN SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY, MARCH 28, 2011 TO CONSULT WITH LEGAL COUNSEL/POTENTIAL LITIGATION AS PERMITTED UNDER THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND SECTIONS 10-508(A)(7)(8).

THE CLOSED SESSION WILL BE HELD IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS (ROOM 301) OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICE BUILDING (125 N. DIVISION STREET) FOLLOWING THE CONCLUSION OF THE COUNCIL’S 6:00 P.M. REGULAR MEETING.

Just my opinion, but I've NEVER been in favor of ANY "closed session" by public officials. Elected public officials, performing a public duty, in the supposed interest of the people they "represent", should conduct ALL of their business in the open.
