The Generosity Just Keeps Coming

Today I received canned goods and Stove Top Stuffing to help complete some meals for the Turkey Giveaway being held tomorrow from 5 to 7 PM at Pohanka.

We have received e-mail messages as well as comments from others wanting to help out where they can and we just can't thank you enough.

I will head out tonight and purchase more canned goods. If anyone would like to add to this you are welcome to do so but we will need it to Pohanka by 4:00 PM tomorrow.

I received a call from one of our advertisers about an hour ago asking me to bill them an additional $100.00 this month so we can go out and buy more goods. So you can see, our people truly care.

My phone has literally rung off the hook today. In fact it's on the charger right now for the third time today.   You people are just unbelievable, thank you so very much.

When I watched TV news tonight, I thought it was so great that some nice man in Cambridge is giving away toys to kids that won't have any this year. I sure hope you get the recognition you deserve Joe. Thanks for all you do. I know you do not do it for the recognition, but when someone does what you have done to get this organized. You are truly #1.

Thank you for all of your hard work trying to give others a better holiday. I think we, as a society, get so caught up in our own lives that we forget the less fortunate. Thanks for caring.

Joe,
If there are ANY dinners left over (which I doubt there will be) please post this information as I/We will be more than glad to deliver them to the neighborhoods most in need. I'm thinking some people in need might not have transportation.

Pride will keep some from coming out. There are so many families struggling to make ends meat and many of those people try to keep their financial difficulities a secret out of shame. I just hope everyone can see it isn't just their particular family, but many families are in the same boat. If anyone needs help please get it, if not for you for your families sake.

There is no shame in admitting times are hard and the purpose is to help those that truly need help.
