I am not trying to be a scrooge. but he had insurance and he has a job as well as his wife. THey have a roof over thier heads and have already been given donations.
This happened last year with the Parker Family who had insurance and really reaped in the goods from everyone. Keep in mind they both had jobs too. Save it for the needy who have nothing at all.
I am really am not being nasty or mean just worried where the truley needed are getting their next meal or sleeping.

If you could add up all of the posessions and memories that are lost when something like this happens, its priceless. I understand the thought behind helping the needy, but they have places that help them every day. These people and their childred had lost everything in the blink of an eye. Don't give someone a hard time for wanting to help someone in there time of need. Especially someone who is sworn to protect the citizens of this area.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Ashley family will "pay it forward."

It is amazing how this community comes together to help, especially this time of year. Between a restaurant and what Joe and Pohanka..... Pretty amazing.
