Wounded Warrior Weekend With American Legion Post 64 In Salisbury

Yesterday I had the distinct honor of being invited to a very special event at Post 64 in Salisbury. Ultimately, 5 Wounded Warriors who are still on ACTIVE DUTY with our Armed Forces have come to visit the Eastern Shore to prove, life is NOT over after being wounded. In fact, these guys were cracking jokes the entire time and having a blast.

One of the Soldiers is actually waiting for his new assignment to head back overseas and he just can't wait. These men came from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.. They practiced firearms and Cross Bow. The Bows were specially equipped with a special crank to assist pulling back the line, it was quite impressive. Let me tell you this Folks, these guys could hit some bulls-eyes!

The Post below is your opportunity to support these fine men tomorrow at Post 64. The Banquet will include a fantastic menu and I for one can tell you that you'll be in fantastic company with not only the Members of Post 64 but these fine men to boot.

I want to personally thank the Members of Post 64 for their invitation to join them yesterday.

Annon:11:32 Lets keep this dignified, obviouly your not a veteran and don't understand just how precious life is. I have been a part of bringing the "Wounded Warriors" here, believe me as a veteran there is nothing compared
to meeting these brave men and women.
