… GETS SNOTTY WITH CONSTITUENT
Regardless of how bad you behave, if you’re a lefty you can always count on your lefty friends rushing to your defense. After being notified by a Salisbury resident that he (the constituent) was none too pleased with Chuck Cook’s disruptive behavior at yesterday’s AFP event, Salisbury mayor Jim Ireton fired off a snotty, and untrue reply.
Ireton attempted to deflect the constituent’s complaint by claiming that AFP was also guilty of past sins – such as hanging Frank Kratovil in effigy. Not only was this a poorly done “bait and switch” attempt, it isn’t true. How do we know? Jimmy’s pal Chuck Cook says so.
Chuck’s not a bad guy. I’m willing to give him the benefit of doubt and say that he probably just got carried away. However, there is no way that this behavior was acceptable nor can Ireton justify defending it – even if he did so with the truth. Which he DID NOT!

It was NOT the AFP that hung Frank Kratovil in effigy, it was Libertarian Mike Calpino, candidate for District 2 Wicomico County Council.
Jim Ireton is very snotty with all his constituents. I sick and tired of being talked down to by him.

1:41pm Is this Mike Calpino guy the same guy who is trying to unseat Stevie Prettyman? I've seen him waving his sign in Fruitland and he was all dressed up in some kind of bizzare outfit. Laughted all the way home.
This is dumb. Ireton and Cook may be associated, but it's not like Ireton is Cook's boss and can do anything about it as mayor of Smallsbury.
Ireton needs to keep his political panties out of his work as mayor. It's a non-partisan position. Act like it!

Cook is a flake and so is Ireton. I really think Cook is a closet Homosexual for some reason. I bet he swings both ways.
