First District Rep. Frank Kratovil (D-MD) really holds his constituents in high regard. He has refused to hold a public town hall meeting with voters for the last year. His so called meetings with constituents are tightly controlled affairs more akin to campaign events than actually working with constituents.
Now he has gone so far as to REFUSE to talk to a constituent! Evidently, Frank’s handlers have convinced him that if it isn’t a photo op or it’s not someone handing him a check, then they just aren’t worth Kratovil’s time!
It’s 67 days until the election Frank. You’re going to have to come out sometime. The Obama machine won’t be able to put you over the top this year. You’ll actually have to talk to people.
In the meantime, all we can do is ask:

It's a fact that Frank Kratovil hasn't had a town hall meeting the last year. The video shows Kratovil refusing to talk to a constituent.
He's got to come out sometime. Or ... do you believe that your Congressman has no obligation to meet with his constituents?
He actually came around and knocked on our door last week. I'd rather he go around knocking on doors to have one on one conversations than hold a mass event where I don't get a chance to talk to him.
Maybe instead of townhalls some of you should fo to study halls.

He probably knows that if he has a town hall meeting it will be mob rule with all the AFP wingnuts shouting out and interrupting any and all who disagree with them. So you only have your organization to blame for the lack of town halls.

Sure. Those seniors and moms who showed up at last year's town halls were soooo intimidating. I didn't see much shouting or interrupting at the town halls I attended or saw on video. I did see a lot of voters who weren't happy with Frank's record to date.
