John Cannon Hosts Fantastic Fundraiser At Bordeleau Winery In Eden

Candidate for State Delegate John Cannon hosted a fundraiser last night that was by far one of the classiest gatherings I have ever attended on the Eastern Shore. The facility was just unbelievable, (if you've never been, go) and the Cannon Supporters enjoyed every second of it.

John expressed his concerns about government being too deep into the Farmer's business and how we need someone in Annapolis to protect our Eastern Shore treasures and livelihood.

its good to see a difference of opinion here. ive noticed that you (joe) seem to favor john cannon whereas GA does not. if i may ask, how does that affect the relationship between you two? do you guys argue over what to print on things like that? just wondering about the dynamics when a difference of opinion applies.

anonymous 12:31, Joe Albero does NOT decide who gets voted in or not. in fact, I'm a Delaware resident.

I have NOT endorsed any candidate for any position to date. You are placing words in my mouth in which I will NOT allow. YOU have NO idea who I will support and who I will not.

GA Harrison is a very wise man when it comes to politics. He doesn't make decisions based on a two minute conversation with a candidate at a local forum. GA and I have spent YEARS getting to know each and every candidate and I respect GA's choices for the past 6 years.

This is exactly why many, (if not all) of the candidates know how valuable OUR support will play in this election. Trust me on this one, we do not take these decisions lightly.

It appears to be a lot more people at that event than the female wannabe candidate has. I saw pics on the other blog and asked how many was in attendance and he never posted that comment.

my apologies if i offended you. thats why i said it SEEMS that you favor - because i wasnt trying to put words in your mouth. also, i wasnt trying to imply GA (nor you) does not know what he is talking about.
the biggest line from your response though is you respect GAs choices. thats good. i know politics can get the best of friends at each others' throats (my cousin and i, wow - lol). again, sorry about that, was just interested in possible dynamics.

Pretty funny that John says that he has concerns about the government being too deep into the Farmer's business...........that's just what he was advocating when he supported the down zoning proposal. If he TRULY wants to protect our shore, he should be AGAINST down zoning!

Didn't see Ollinger in any of those pics -- was here there?

Julie Brewington had around 10 people at her fundraiser last night. Two of them was another blogger and his wife. Cannon also raised more then $4,000 at this event. I heard Julie raised less then $500.

anonymous 1:20, Joe Ollinger wasn't there. In fact, Joe Ollinger is a no show just about everywhere I go. He's just running so the republicans have a name. He has absolutely no chance of winning anything.

anonymous 12:47, G.A. Harrison is like a Brother to me.

So you know, he and his Son are recovering well from their car accident the other day.

im glad to hear they are doing well. we wish them well as they come back. i see hes made a comment today. *thumbs up*

Ollinger is an idiot. When he does show up he puts his foot in his mouth. What a hit the party is taking. I do not know what the hell is going on with the republicans in this county. They are losing a 50 year dedicated republican because of the bull crap. It makes me sick.

I will be at the crab feast this Sat. I hope they are ready for the concerns that will be voiced.

Time for some of these idiots to step down. Pollitt can sit at home on the couch. Ollinger does not have a prayer.

Disgusted Republican.

Disgusted Republican it appears that Taylor and Baker, both Democrats, running against Pollitt are far more conservative than he is. It's a shame they will be splitting the vote.
