ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Martin O’Malley will join Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Police Commissioner Frederick Bealefeld, III today in the Sandtown-Winchester community of Baltimore for an important announcement related to the safety of Baltimore City neighborhoods. The Governor will outline millions in public safety grants for Baltimore Police, designed to enhance community policing, neighborhood foot patrols, and violent crime reduction.
The Governor’s announcement will be part of his day-long “Capital for a Day” activities, which will bring the entire O’Malley-Brown Administration to Baltimore City today.

What a JOKE! I thought the recent stats said crime was down in the state! How about sending the funds to Salisbury, MD the crime capital of our state! 2nd highest rate for burglary, in top 5 cities for crime based on our population, and our unproportionate amount of sex offenders in our county!
