Wicomico Bureau Of Investigations Press Release

INCIDENT: Home Invasion, Assault, Attempted Burglary DATE: July 21, 2010

LOCATION: Naas Road and Log Cabin Road

NARRATIVE: On July 21, 2010 at 0633 hours the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of Naas Road And Log Cabin Road for two attempted burglaries and one home invasion that included the victim being assaulted. The Wicomico Bureau of Investigation responded and assumed the investigation. The suspect was described as below. He entered the one residence with the intent to commit a robbery of the victim, after not being successful with the robbery, the suspect both physically and sexually assaulted the victim. In the other two attempts, entry into the residences was not gained but damage was done in attempts to gain entry.

On July 27, 2010 at 2314 hours the Wicomico Sheriff’s Office again responded to the same area for another attempted burglary. This attempt was on Santa Fe Drive. Santa Fe Drive is located on the opposite side of Log Cabin Road from Naas Road.

Suspect*: White male, approximately 5’8", weighing approximately 150lbs.

(thin build), dark colored eyes, wearing two red bandanas, one covering his face and the
other covering the top of his head (victim did not see any hair, possibly short), long
sleeve black shirt, dark colored jeans, brown belt with metal studs, dark in color shoes
(victim described as skater shoes).

I can't say anymore but there is a registered sex offender very close to that Raas intersection with Log Cabin rd..Check the list.

Very sad. Praying for the victim, thankful she reported it, and praying the sick bastard gets caught! Hope the victim gets in counseling and can move on with her life in time. So sorry for your pain and fear this animal has caused. I am starting to hate this town!
