Suspect: Lester C. Sadberry, 49, Pittsville, MD

Narrative: On 31 May 2010 at 6:55 PM, deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported altercation at a residence in the 35000 block of Old Ocean City Road in Pittsville. Upon arrival, they met with a male victim who advised that his son came at him with a knife, threatening to stab him. The deputies also learned that Sadberry knocked over a portable toilet and went into a profanity laced tirade during the altercation. Deputies managed to locate Sadberry inside a trailer at the rear of the property where he was then taken into custody. The deputies observed that Sadberry appeared heavily intoxicated.

Upon arrest, Sadberry was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Sadberry was detained by the Commissioner in the Detention Center without bond.
