After a short break the killing spree starts again.
Yay. It's a lovely place to live...unless you leave your house. Or unless someone breaks into your house. Or you decide to stop somewhere for an ice cream cone or to use an ATM.

All of this going on all the while two marked city police cars were sitting behind the north wawa chatting it up. These officers, while not on break, eating lunch or going to the bathroom need to be in the thick of it trying to stop these crimes, instead they sit out on the permitters letting it happen. There needs to be a change from the TOP down.

There was two city police cars sitting at the convenience store on Soutd Divison/Dykes road at closing time. Why wasnt one of them at another store at this time of night. On in a part of town where this stuff happens. There are always two cars parked on the corner of south blvd and eastern shore drive. Why? They are always in twos..for their protection I guess?

Where the heck is the "Safe Street Unit"? Probably looking for more suspended drivers.

"The victim was transported to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center by Salisbury Fire Department Emergency Services and later died from his injuries."

There is now such thing as "Salisbury Fire Department Emergency Services." That should be Emergency Medical Services."

sounds like totmom and a few other itiots know how to better patrol the city, maybe they should pick up an application! how do you know the officers were sent for an alarm call or other call requiring 2 officers. I guess officers aren't allowed to talk to one another either and share information. I would LOVE to follow you idiots around for a day where you work and keep track of all the time you waste talking to co workers, on the internet, texting, smoke breaks, you name it, instead of doing your work. If you knew the workload that these officers have you wouldn't have room to run your mouth. There is considerable paperwork involved as well and a majority of the time is spent typing BS reports because some idiot left their laptop, purse, and $500 layed out in an unlocked vehicle in the middle of this crime ridden city. The officers haven't had so much as a cost of living increase in 4 years, medical went up and now they are furloughed on top of it, not to mention the call volume sky rocketing. So these officers are having to do twice as much work for a lot less pay, many of them go 12 hours without so much as a meal break and then to listen to a buch of tree huggin idiots, who blames them for taking a min or two here or there and no this isn't what "they signed up for". They were under the mistaken impression that the City would treat it's employees fair. You're gonna get what you pay for.

Sounds like most eastern shore businesses 4:08. Horrible leadership and most of the workers here wouldnt know work if it slapped them in the face.

The vfw may have tight security inside the building but many things happen outside with the crowd that's around there. There is a biker gang up there every weekend. I know sunday evening/monday morning when this happened there was a large crowd w/ the bikers. Maybe an apology is due to the vfw in itself but the cops have been called several times to that area and the crowd up there. It was only a matter of time something happened near there.

I hate people that speculate. Why are all bike groups gangs? Look up the definition gangs! In order to call it a gang their must be crimes being committed. The bike groups that hold functions at the VFW are not gangs they hold fundraisers and give back to the community. I know because I belong to one. When is the last time you gave out blankets to the elderly in the winter. Gave a needy child school supplies. Picked up trash for miles on a highway. Took an elderly person to pick up or pay for medication. Held any type of function to help the childen in the community you know they ones who's parents can't afford to send the away to camp or bording school. Before you pass judgement it would be nice to have the facts. This is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!
