Ehrlich Mourns Passing Of Page Elmore

Eastern Shore Delegate Succumbs to Cancer at 71

Bob Ehrlich today noted with sadness and respect the passing of Delegate Page Elmore, a Republican from Maryland’s Eastern Shore who served his constituents with distinction for eight years in Annapolis.

“Page was a man of great honor and intelligence,” Ehrlich said. “He dedicated himself to serving the watermen, farmers, teachers and all citizens in his district with energy and compassion.”

Delegate Elmore was devoted to his family and his constituents, Ehrlich noted, adding that “his warmth and dignity will be missed; his honesty and intellect will be long remembered.”

Ehrlich noted further that Delegate Elmore had the ability to work with legislators from both parties and maintain their trust and confidence. “Page was modest but strong, and provided a voice for the people of the Eastern Shore; he’ll be missed.”
