We offered to take the dog. However we do have 2 other dogs and Maggie has always been the only dog in her family. I know a lot of times people do not want older dogs but I would be more than happy to take her. I am sure the family is waiting to see if anyone else calls so they can choose the best home for their Maggie. I just don't want to see her going to the humane society:-( Good luck!!

Maggs is a wonderful loving dog. She would be a wonderful companion to anyone. She is used to being the only dog in the house.

I have posted privately to this person who they need to call. I hope they do it. Anytime, someone has a purebred dog like this, there are "RESCUE" groups for that breed. We all have people that want special breeds and sometimes if they have one, they will be willing to take a second older dog as a companion. NEVER give your dog to a neighbor or friend as they oftentimes think that they are doing you a favor and 90% of the time, the poor animal will still end up in rescue anyway.
